On The Brew Coffee Company was founded by Cecilia and Jonathan, two first-generation Americans with Guatemalan roots, born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut. Our journey began over a decade ago while working together at a local coffee shop, where we bonded over our shared heritage and a growing love for coffee. Inspired by Jonathan’s deep family roots in Guatemala’s coffee industry—from producers and pickers to a certified Q-grader—we set out to honor that legacy by becoming coffee roasters ourselves. For us, roasting isn’t just a craft; it’s a way to continue a family tradition and bring something meaningful to our community. We specialize in sourcing and roasting high quality microlot coffees, meticulously cultivated beans that showcase the unique characteristics of their origin. Our focus is on quality, sustainability, and authenticity, and we partner with microfarms that share those values.
